Welcome to Jackson County Conservation District’s 2025 Annual Meeting and Board Election! Join us in kicking off the new year together.

Registration and voting starts at 5:30 pm, with the Annual Meeting starting at 6 pm. 

After a brief meeting and staff reports, dinner will be served.  There will be door prizes, a cash bar, and musical entertainment by Steve Berkemeier. 

Following dinner, we will present two awards, and then introduce the evening's speaker — Tess Van Gorder of Michigan Farm Bureau. In her presentation, Tess will explore key factors to consider when participating in carbon and ecosystem services programs. She will also provide valuable insights into emerging opportunities within the evolving realm of "climate-smart" agriculture.
